Sangeetha Kala Acharya P.S.Narayanaswamy (Padma Bhushan awardee) is a very renowned musician and one of the prime disciples of the doyen, Sangita Pitamaha Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer. Apart from being an outstanding concert artist PSN (as he is fondly called) is a teacher par excellence. Blessed with a powerful voice, he absorbed the special aspects of all stalwart musicians carving out a style of his own. As his voice responded very well to fast tempo music, his style became 'briga' oriented. His grip over tala and rhythm has been commendable that he has the felicity to handle intricate pallavis with ease and dexterity.
